Nelson Mandela's achievements and turning points

Turning points:

  • He was becoming chief of his local tribe'
  • Whilst at university he became increasingly aware of the unjust nature of SAS.
  • he resign from the ANC...
  • he was  charged to be victorious


  •  in 1960 the Sharpeville massacre of 63 black South African’
  •  had been arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in priso
  • He last his son 
  • he retaired from work 




Achievement:

  • Finish his degree and qualified as a Lawyer.
  • Opened the first Black Law firm in SA.
  • 1944 helped
  • President of South African.
  • He is widely admired and has received many prestigious awards. 
  • Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Albert Namatjira

1902- born at Hermannsburg Northern Territory
1915- spent six months in the bush
1920- married with llkalita
1936- accompanied Battarbee as a cameleer on two month-long excursions.
1944- was included in who's who in Australia.
1949-1950 was refused a grazing licence.
1951- prevented from building a house on land
1953- awarded queen Elizabeth II's coronation medal
1955- elected the member of Royal Art Society of New South Wales.
1957- led to further anomalies.
1958- was charged with supplying alcohol to the artist.
1959- died at Alice Springs Hospital.

1944- helped found the ANC Youth League.
1952- opened the firs Black law firm in South Africa.
1962- arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment.
1990- release.
1994-1999 was president.
2013- died.

Fred Hollows bio timeline

1929- born in New Zealand
1960- got a job in Australia.
1967-had of the Eye deportment at Sydney
1970- helped launch a national program to attack eye disease.
1980- traveled all over the world to help set up eye health programs.
1989-new  dying  of cancer.
1993-died at home.
